Natalia Prishepenko: Chausson - Poème op 25

CHAUSSON, Ernest

Poème for solo violin and orchestra op. 25 (violin and piano reduction)

Natalia Prishepenko, guest professor

Rubén Mendoza, student

Vadim Gladkov, accompanying pianist

The mysterious character requires more relaxation at the beginning of the piece.
The performance has to be easier. Referring to formal issues, the bridge has to be an ally when playing because it is where we control the 'string-bow' contact point.
Professor Natalia Prishepenko also gives indications about dynamics, phrasing, bow speed and expression.
